Brussel Sprouts

I’ve added bacon bits to this too….just sayin’!

INGREDIENTS

  • 20 brussel sprouts

  • EIEIO FIG & OLIVE TAPENADE

  • Olive Oil, sprinkle of salt & 1 chopped garlic clove

  • Water

  • 1 Tblsp raw purple onion minced


DIRECTIONS

  • Cut brussel sprouts in half and saute in a tblsp of olive oil, sprinkle of salt and 1 finely chopped garlic clove for 4 minutes tossing around continuously so they don't burn on one side-Flash a tblsp worth of water on top of brussel sprouts and cover for 3-4 minutes until sprouts are partially softened

  • uncover and add chopped onion and 1 tblsp of EIEIO Tapenade. Cover again for 1-2 minutes until steamy and then VOILA! Time to serve!!


NOTES

  • This is a vegan recipe. If you want to really splurge, you can also add cooked and crumbled bacon bits at the last minute.
